Your wellness journey
starts here

Two ways in: start the intake if you’re ready, or just ask a question first. Both reach the same place.

How to get in touch

I’m ready to book

The intake form collects what is needed to get you scheduled — contact details, and what you are seeking care for. It goes directly and securely to the practice.

Start the intake

I have a question first

Not ready to fill out a full intake? Send a short question about pricing, the appointment policy, or whether a service is a fit. No forms, no commitment.

New patients

Start your intake

The intake form is hosted securely by Valant, the practice’s medical records system. Everything you enter goes straight to the practice — nothing is stored on this website.

  • Takes about ten minutes
  • Asks for your contact details and what you are seeking care for
  • Opens in a new tab at valant.io, so this page stays where it is

Would rather not fill in a form? Call (973) 755-2887 and the office will take your information over the phone.

General questions

Ask a question

Questions about pricing, the appointment policy, or whether a service is a fit — no intake required.

Send a secure message

Messages sent through Spruce are encrypted and HIPAA-protected, so you can include whatever detail you think matters. It goes straight to the practice, not to a website inbox.

First time? Spruce will ask you to set up a free account so the conversation stays encrypted.

Prefer phone or email?

Call (973) 755-2887 during business hours, or email Care@serenitypeakcare.com.

Ordinary email is not secure. It is fine for “what does an evaluation cost?” — but please use the secure message above, or the phone, for anything about symptoms, diagnoses or medications.

Office

Hours

Monday–Friday, by appointment.
Messages sent after hours are answered the next business day.

In a crisis, don’t wait for a reply

If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call 911. For urgent mental health support any time, call or text 988. This practice does not provide emergency or after-hours crisis services.

Before your first visit

What to expect

Do you see patients in person?

Visits are conducted by secure telehealth video for patients located in New Jersey, New York, Florida, and Arizona. You will need a private space, a device with a camera, and a reliable connection.

Who do you treat?

Adolescents aged 15 and older, and adults. A parent or guardian is involved in care for patients under 18.

How long is the first appointment?

An initial psychiatric evaluation is 60 minutes. Follow-up visits are 20–30 minutes, with a 45–60 minute extended visit available for more complex medication management or supportive psychotherapy. The initial evaluation is longer because it covers your full history. See services and pricing.

What should I have ready?

A list of current medications and doses, any recent lab work, and your pharmacy. Serenity Peak is private pay, so there is no insurance card to gather — payment is due at the time of your visit.

Can you prescribe controlled substances by telehealth?

Sometimes. Prescribing controlled substances by telehealth — including stimulant medications for ADHD — is governed by federal DEA rules and by the rules of the state you are physically located in, and those differ between New Jersey, New York, Florida and Arizona. Whether a controlled medication is appropriate for you is a clinical decision made during your evaluation, not something that can be promised beforehand. If a stimulant is what you are hoping for, say so when you book so we can be upfront about what is possible in your state.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Please give at least 48 business hours’ notice. Appointments canceled, rescheduled, or missed with less than 48 business hours’ notice are subject to a $75 non-refundable late cancellation fee. Full details are on the appointment policy.

Do you take insurance?

No — Serenity Peak is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. Every price is listed on the services and pricing page, and payment is due at the time of your visit.

How soon will I hear back?

Messages sent during business hours are typically answered the same or next business day. This practice does not provide crisis or after-hours coverage — call or text 988 for urgent mental health support.
